Pamela Tick Aspen Outfits Summer Western Chic

Aspen in the summer means champagne at Hotel Jerome, cacio e pepe at Casa Tua and calfskin hats from Kemo Sabe. It’s the season when the mountains hum, the scene leans low-key luxe and getting dressed is all about mastering that balance between laid-back and elevated.

And when it comes to nailing that high-altitude, high-style aesthetic, no one does it better than Pamela Tick.

A tastemaker on and off the turntables, Pamela is the ultimate multi-hyphenate: dynamic DJ, fashion tastemaker, model, content creator and modern mama. She’s spun for fashion’s biggest names—from Tiffany & Co. to Miu Miu and Hermès—and fronted campaigns for leading brands like Balmain x Goop, Free People and DVF.

On any given day, Pamela moves seamlessly between motherhood, music and style—with a signature ease as effortless as her beachy blonde waves.

Pamela’s aesthetic? A play on polarity: understated meets ultra-feminine, luxury meets lived-in. She mixes high and low like a pro—styling a vintage shearling coat with designer snow boots or pairing a floor-length fur with a beanie and just-bitten lips.

Whether Pamela is spinning at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach or styling the perfect après look, she is the blueprint.

Now, she's sharing her picks for what to bring to Aspen this summer—pieces that move from morning hikes to martinis and everywhere in between.

Let’s get into it—Aspen, curated by Pamela Tick.

Real Sunglasses

You’re closer to the sun in Aspen, so sunnies are a non-negotiable — for your eyes and for your aura. Think vintage glam meets sporty edge. My Oakleys or RayBans are my go-to!

Mineral Sunscreen (That Doesn’t Make You Ghostly)

I swear by a mineral SPF stick that fits in every bag. It’s clear, clean and doesn’t fight with your skin tint or moisturizer. Apply. Reapply. Repeat.

Hiking Sneakers — a Nike girl at heart <3

The hikes in Aspen call for a steady and stylish sneaker to rock during the day. Make sure whichever sneakers you take have cushion, support and good traction. My Nikes always make me feel cool and work with any bike short and hoodie around the waist or over the shoulders.

Straw Cowboy Hat

Yes, she’s giving rodeo — but breezy. It’s the perfect nod to the Wild West. I’ll throw her on with a bikini, denim shorts or basically anything.

A Solid Belt

The quiet luxury item of summer packing. A great belt ties it all together — literally. Over a dress, a mini skirt or with trousers. I’m big on taking a black and a brown belt for matching to my shoe options. Brunello Cucinelli belts for the win.

Cowboy Boot

I could be in the simplest outfit — but throw on a cowboy boot and suddenly I’m in full Aspen character. Perfect for farmers market runs, mountain town strolls and fun dinners.

Riley Versa x Pamela Tick Water Bottle Bag

Not just a bag — a lifestyle. Keeps you hydrated and hands-free while looking like you’re running the après scene. It’s fashion meets function, and I’m not just saying that because I designed it (okay, maybe a little). You can buy yours here ;)

Lightweight Cashmere Layer

It’s hot in the sun and chilly in the shade — welcome to Aspen. I keep a featherweight cashmere wrap in my bag at all times. It always comes in handy whether it’s late dinners, gondola rides or to simply add a layer of cool and comfy.

A Good Set

Sets are your best friend — especially the ones you can hike, coffee-run or crash a lunch in. Perfect for lounge or go out, dress up or down style.

Statement Jewelry

I always throw on my classic watch and my vintage RRL squash blossom necklace. Or some good turquoise usually does the trick.
