Hot Girl, Hot Takes with @Eat_This_: Is the spinach & artichoke dip better at Corner Store or Hillstone?

When it comes to food, there are a few universal truths nearly every New Yorker can agree on. Don’t skip out on the spicy wontons at Din Tai Fung. Save room for dessert at Lilia because the olive oil gelato will not disappoint. If you’re not getting the white slice from Fini Pizza, literally what are you doing?
Don’t get me wrong. I love raving about the classics more than the next foodie. But, you don’t need me to tell you that the bread basket at Carbone is the best thing on the table. Boooring. A wise friend once told me, “If you’re not pissing somebody off, you’re not doing something right.”
Here at Fluent, we like things just as spicy as Momofuku chili crunch (IYKYK).
So, in the spirit of controversy, I tapped on one of New York’s most trusted food authorities, Remi Godner.
Remi runs the popular Instagram account Eat This, and honestly, she never misses. Her page is my go-to destination for any cuisine I’m craving, but there’s something about her sushi and pasta (and basically all Italian) recs that just hit different.
Not to be dramatic or anything, but I owe her my left kidney for introducing me to Sushi 35 West.
Below, indulge yourself in Remi's 5 "Hot Girl, Hot Takes.” (And please don't come after her, ya weirdos).
If you think Sushi Seki has the best spicy scallop hand roll, you need to try Sushi 456. Their spicy scallop strikes the perfect balance of melting in your mouth while still having a little crunch and, of course, a kick.
The butter ricotta ravioli at Rubirosa is the best dish on the menu and ranks way above the pizza in my book. I may or may not have debated drinking that butter sauce, and you probably will, too.
Not enough people are talking about the braised artichokes from Da Toscano or the roasted chicken salad from Buvette. Two things you likely would skip over, but absolutely should not.
If you think 4 Charles is good, you need to try the burger at Rolo’s or Suprema.
Hillstone’s spinach and artichoke dip is better than The Corner Store’s. Sorry, I said what I said.
