In Miami, going out to eat is an Olympic sport. With a new restaurant popping up faster than that rented yellow Lambo is revving down Brickell Ave., your appetite for dinner and socialization is guaranteed to be met full-force.
While I could happily exist on Pura Vida for breakfast, lunch and dinner (thanks to the multitude of locations, this is very much possible), sometimes I must venture out for the sake of diversification... and also my sanity.
In the era of the restaurant reservation, mingling at dinner has never been so easy than in Miami. The crowds are upbeat and the energy is pulsating, whether you’re at a sit-down Italian restaurant or a MediterrAsian lounge-restaurant fusion (shoutout to Mila).
It’s true what they say — a low-key dinner in Miami is a high-key dinner anywhere else, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This list of Miami dining destinations is a dynamic mix of the clubby favorites, the beloved transplants (they hit different in the 305), the tried-and-true local gems and the buzzy newcomers.
One key factor remains consistent, and it’s that all of the below pass the vibe-check with flying colors. So much so that 4 a.m. clubbing is now a distant memory — unless it's Space. Then we make exceptions.
