POV: You have the busiest day of your life tomorrow.

Client meeting at 10. Balayage at 3. Martinis at 8. It’s really giving “Thursday, Nobu, Vegas, Friday.”  With a million and one things to do in between, the idea of picking out three different outfits is far from ideal. Champagne problems, but nonetheless, still a problem.

You typically would wear your favorite Helsa dress to drinks with the girls, but a mini doesn’t seem appropriate when presenting to C-suite executives (all male, obviously). *Rolls eyes*  You could wear your new Favorite Daughter suit, but sitting in trousers while you fry your hair off for four hours does not sound cute.

Just as you’re about to succumb to sweatpants, you stumble upon a (viral) reel titled “One Outfit, Three Ways: Corporate, Casual, Cocktails.”  The (brilliant) concept is coined by content creator Oli Susskind, whose personal style is just as distinctive as her hilarious commentary.  In a world where micro-trends rule the fashion ecosystem, Oli’s commitment to dressing to her own drum is extremely refreshing.

The Bottega-enthusiast advocates for investing in timeless pieces, both high and low, that serve as an extension of your personality. Whether it’s her elite Cos finds or superwoman ability to “jeuje” up any look with killer accessories, Oli has made a real name for herself in the influencer space and is here to stay.

Oli’s  “ One Outfit, Three Ways”  series is a serious lifesaver, so grab your most-worn denim and crisp white button-down, and let’s get into it.

Your Base Pieces

Our base pieces will be the COS Arch Tapered Jeans in Indigo (a darker wash will help you seamlessly transition for the more formal occasions) and my absolute can’t-live-without white button-downThe Everything Shirt from Soldout.NYC.

Corporate

Tuck in that button-down and button it all the way up. We’re taking our base pieces to work by styling them with a smart blazer. For this look, let’s go with a plaid blazer to add some visual interest — Argent has a great option. Commuting Pair it with a comfortable yet polished loafer; my pick is the Brown Suede loafer from Beckett Simonon. Lastly, you’ll need a bag that’s big enough for your laptop, but comfortable to carry — my tote from Parker Thatch is my go-to.

Casual

This one’s a no-brainer. If you are ever trying to dress down any look, I have five words for you: sneakers and a baseball hat. It’s that simple. Take any otherwise formal outfit, add these elements, and you’ve instantly achieved a laid-back style. I opt for my New Balance 9060’s and Ritz x Frame baseball hat. Want to level up the casual vibe? Throw on a messenger bag to reach that next tier of I’m-just-running- errands-but-still-look-cute-doing-it.

Cocktails

Now, let’s have some fun. With our base pieces, we’re skipping the layers and leaning on footwear, accessories and creative styling to transform this outfit into the perfect look for grabbing a martini (or three) with your obviously handsome husband, a prospective date who is simply lucky to be in your presence or your best girlfriends. I’m adding my favorite Comet pumps from Bottega Veneta (the most comfortable pumps I own!) and piling on bold gold jewelry, like Jenny Bird's Penelope necklace, and more gold accents like my Aureum Collective No. Belt. Grab your favorite evening bag — mine is a Chanel wallet on a chain. And finally, here’s the finishing touch: unbutton your top two buttons and roll up your sleeves. We’re going out. We’re going out.
